2.1. Minimum total weight: 175.00 grams
2.2. Minimum body weight: 60.00 grams (including body mounts)
2.3. Additional weight may be added to the main chassis plate, the T plate, the U plate and/or the body mounting plates. This weight must be glued or bolted (using existing holes in the chassis) to the chassis and no soldering is allowed. This weight may not extend outside the footprint of the chassis.
2.4. Maximum front spur: 83.00 millimeters, but never wider than the body used. This also applies to cambered front wheels.
2.5. Maximum rear spur: 83.00 millimeters, but never wider than the body used.
2.6. Minimum front ground clearance at the start of the race: 1.00 millimeter
2.7. Minimum rear ground clearance at the start of the race; 1.20 millimeter
2.8. Minimum front and rear ground clearance during and after the race: 0.60 millimeter

3.0 MOTOR, GEAR AND PINION

3.1. The Plafit FOX2 motor with all Plafit markings clearly visible.
3.3. Any pinion, but always at M50 pitch.
3.4. Any spur gear, but always at M50 pitch.
3.5. Differentials are not allowed.

4.0 CHASSIS

4.1. The only homologated chassis is the PLAFIT 1700 series (but not including the SLP1 and SLP2). Assembly of the chassis must be done according to the manufacturers design using nuts and bolts to the original holes provided in the chassis. Nuts, screws, bolts and washers are free to choose.
4.2. No modifications (including the drilling of holes) are allowed, except to accomodate screws with bigger heads - like Torx fastners.
4.3. Only parts manufactured by Plafit for the 1700 series may be used.
4.4. Only one part of the chassis is allowed to enter the track slot, and this part may not have a contact area longer than 27mm.
4.5. Magnets are only present in the motor, and are not allowed in any other part of the chassis.
4.6. Only one chassis is allowed to be used for the duration of the race.
4.7. No carbon parts are allowed, unless manufatured by Plafit for the 1700 series.

5.0 WHEELS, AXLES & BEARINGS

5.1. Only steel 3mm Ø blank axles are permitted. No differential gearing is permitted.
5.2. Allowed are 6mm diameter ball bearings of any make. Fitment to the chassis must be performed without any cutting or modification to the chassis.
5.3. Front wheels are any Plafit or Scaleauto rims and hard black sponge rubber tyres with a minimum diameter of 23 mm and a minimum width of 7mm. The front wheel diameter should represent a scale appearance of the 1:1 car. The front wheels must make contact with the track or tech block over 7 mm, or more. Cambered front wheels are permitted and must touch the track for 7mm or more. The front tyres may be hardened and polished only where it touches the track. For cambered front wheels the outside diameter will apply.
5.4. Rear wheels are any Plafit or Scaleauto rims with a minimum outside diameter of 21mm on Plafit # 8441BM and #8442BM or Scaleauto Pro Comp 3 tyres with a minimum diameter of 26.5 mm and maximum width of 15 mm. No conical truing is allowed. Tyre dressing is not allowed. Rear tyres may only be cleaned using tape or Shellite.
5.5. All 4 wheels of the car must be fitted with 3-dimensional wheel inserts, resembling the wheels of the real 1:1 car, during the entire race duration
5.6. None of the wheels may be visible when looked on the assembled car from above. Spur will be measured over the complete rims left and right, including wheel inserts.
5.7 All four wheels must be centred in their respective wheel openings in the body. Deliberate stretching of the wheelbase is not allowed.

6.0 BODY

6.1. Body must be made from injection molded plastic (e.g. Commercially manufactured plastic model kits).
6.2. Bodies must be fitted with a windshield and side windows as found on the 1:1 car and must be from the original plastic kit.
6.3. Bodies must be fitted with grills, side mirrors (aftermarket mirrors may be fitted using flexible materials, but the original shape and size must be retained), rear spoiler, splitter plates and aerodynamic fins and rear diffusers as found on the 1:1 car. Rear wheel covers (like on the Jaguars and Nissans) may be removed from the kit if the 1:1 car ever raced without these.
6.4. No part of the chassis may be visible when the car is viewed from directly overhead. Bodies with large intakes and openings where radiators and grills fill the view on the 1:1 car, need to be covered by positioning the kit parts (alternatively, using a fine mesh) on the inside of the body.
6.5. Lexan is not allowed for any integrated part or body panel of the body - only to assist in the mounting of rear and/or front wings (not the wings themselves).
6.6. Any material other than what is in the kit may be used for wing and spoiler mounting, provided the scale shape of the mounting is retained.
6.7. Only one body is allowed to be used for the duration of the race.
6.8. Body must be painted and decaled to accurately resemble a 1:1 car, that either participated or could have done so. In other words, fantacy liveries are possible provided designes and colours used were available during the period and sponsors used were from the period.
6.9. Deliberate lightening (dremelling) of body parts are not allowed. Only the minimum modifications to allow proper body fitment and chassis movement will be allowed. The floorpan of the kit, including all the part(s) directly in front of the front wheel openings and part(s) directly behind the rear wheel openings, must be used. Tech control may apply additional weight penalties for obvious measures of cheating or missing body parts. These penalties will be in the form of at least one but not more than two 5 gram weights getting attached to the highest point of the body on the inside, without interfering with the chassis.

7.0 INTERIOR

7.1. Lexan is allowed for the interior compartment and driver figure, but the driver head/helmet must be made from resin or hard plastic.
7.2. The interior must contain a steering wheel gearshift and fire extinguisher.
7.3. The interior and driver must be painted in realistic fashion. The driver must appear to be wearing a safety harness.

8.0 LIGHTS (when a night section is part of the race).

8.1. Functioning lights have to be present at least during the night section. These lights have to be installed on their original 1/1 location in the car.
8.2. Front lights: minimum two lights in total, one left, one right, yellow or white color, bright beam.
8.2. Rear lights: minimum two lights in total, one left, one right, red color, diffuse light.

(b) refitting the rear wing *
(c) refitting the front wing - if longer than 50mm *
(d) replacing or refitting the wheel insert(s)
(e) if any part of the car other then the guide and wheels, touch and/or damage the track.

(g) all repairs must be carried out under green and during race time.
(h)  * can be done with tape
