Official APC and PPM Information 2010
1. Event
The 1:32 & 1:24 Australian Plafit Championship
(APC) and Pan Pacific Meeting (PPM) will officially take their place on the
2010 International Plafit Racing Schedule alongside the European Plafit Championship,
the well known DPM in Germany, the Plafit World Series as well as the PANAM.
The APC + PPM 2010 also includes rounds for the
Queensland Plafit Championship (QPC).
For the first time all races are being held on a
59.5m 8-Lane Plafit Masters Track with a lane spacing of 115mm. Available power
will be 12V and 13.8V. Controller connection will be the American System. This
track will be freighted to Australia especially for this event and will return
to Tokyo for next years Pan Pacific Meeting.
A 1/24 Ford GT Celebrity Challenge will feature
drivers past and present involved with Ford in the rally scene as well as other
personalities. A 1:1 Ford GT will be on display as well.
2. Race Schedule
a) Friday, 6. August 2010
Official scheduled practice for all classes.
a) Saturday, 7. August 2010
1:32 and 1:24 Plafit. Official scheduled practice,
tech check and concourse, qualification, races (8 x 2 and 8 x 3 minutes), prize
presentation. Hand out and tech check GTJ and Formula 1.
b) Sunday, 8. August 2010
1:24 Plafit. Qualification, celebrity challenge,
races (8 x 2, 8 x 3 and 8 x 5 minutes), prize presentation.
3. Participation
a) The
competition is an international event open to race for all domestic and foreign
drivers.
b) Only cars matching the actual technical regulations of “APC” and
"PPM" 1:24 GTJ, 1:24 Formula 1, 1:24 Group C, 1:24 Historic Can-Am
and Sports Cars also 1:32 GT Cars (Division 1 and 2) are allowed to enter the

c) In
the races all participants race with the same type of chassis, motor and rear
tires.
4. Registration
Registration is open to all racers by e-mail acehobbies@bigbond.comor via
the APC website www.aplafitc.com.au on a first come basis.
NOTE : Entry
registration will end at midnight, Wednesday 4.August. No late entries can be
accepted.
5. Prizes
There will be a 1st, 2nd and
3rd place finish podiums for all APC 1:24 Classes and two 1st,
2nd and 3rd place finish podiums for the APC 1:32 Class
(Division 1 and 2). Prizes will be trophies as well as Plafit merchandizes and
accessories.
6. Location
The race event will take place at Torque Ford North
Lakes, 1658 Anzac Avenue, North Lakes, QLD 4509, AUSTRALIA. For further information on locations in

7. Organisation
a) The
responsibility for all APC events has the race organisation.
